Who makes or labels Costco's "Kirkland" Brand dry cat food?
I am looking for what to feed my cats since everything else that I had tried seemed to get recalled one way or another. I am looking for an aswer as to whether or not you are feeding your cats Fancy Feast wet food (gluten free flavors), Purina dry food, Meow Mix dry food, or Meow Mix Select wet food. Or has anyone had a problem with these foods. Please don't answer by referring to the recall list. I have seen the list dozens of times. I am being precautionary and checking with people who are using these products or know people who are. Please don't suggest the better quality premium brands because I have to order them online as there are no retailers in my area. I was feeding my cats healthy foods and all ended up recalled. I have also heard that purina uses products from the US and the corn gluten in Meow Mix dry is of US origin.

Cat Dry food recall?
The vet noticed that he was rubbing his head more harder than he should or more than he should...I thought he was just cleaning himself but now they are telling me that he has mild food allergies. Mild or not I'm concerned; I switched the brand of food he eats and now the hair on his head seems to be growing back however I'm still not sure about a few things:1) what if his food goes on the recall list (they just had a HUGE cat food recall)2) what if I need to change the flavor he eats; the store doesn't always have his flavor in stock3) should I be concerned with the type of treats I give him4) are there any other signs of an allergic reaction that i need to watch out forfyi: he used to eat a mixture of wet and dry food, brand name Special Kitty; but now he eats a mixture of Meow Mix dry food and Friskies wet food...he has been eatting adult wet food for about 3 months however he is only 6 months old and I'd like to keep him on the dry kitten chow for at least a year
