Of course, China is to blame. The country that mindlessly kills cats and dogs for no apparent reason. I think we should really consider how safe any of their imported food ingredients really are. Give those jobs back to Americans. I'll pay more for that. Would you? Madability - China does mindlessly kill their own people. No question there. They do a lot of things I don't agree with.

Deadly cat&dog food?
My cat eats only Friskies "sliced with gravy" cat food. He threw it up, twice, the day before the recent recall. Right after he upchucked, I took his food away and put him on a liquid diet, feeding him only the water drained from a can of tuna. The next day news about the recall hit. I keep going back to the Internet to see if Friskies cuts and gravys are on the list and they haven't shown up. He has not throw up since, but I have not resumed feeding him his Friskies because I am not convinced it hasn't been affected. I have read the product is not made by Menu Brands who bought the poisoned wheat gluten from China. But that does not mean Friskies didn't use the same source for their gluten. I've gone to the Friskies web site and can't find anything about this.

Has anyone's cat gotten sick after eating Friskies "sliced with gravy" cat food?
Have you heard that dog and cat wet food in being poisoned? It's rat poison in the wheat from China. Well, anyway, I went into Petco, and saw a lady who was from Nutro. She told me that they don't think they were involved in this poisoning of cats and dogs. Well, I told her that when my dog was eating Nutro (since December) he wasn't feeling good. You see, he wouldn't drink much water (he had a problem with drinking water, which is one of the symptoms). We had to take him to the vet many times. Then about a couple of weeks ago, he started vomiting. He would vomit many times. We took him to the vet, and got some medication. He was fine with the medication, but if he missed at least one pill, he would vomit. After I heard about this recall on the dog food, I immediately went to Petco, and exchanged it with other type of food. Since I have done that, my dog hasn't had any problems with vomiting and drinking. He also seems more energetic. Is Nutro not taking the responsiblity?

What do you think about Nutro being involved in this dog/cat poisoning?
