I own five cats that were all strays that I took in at one time or another.They own all been recently spayed and neutered.One is a male--5 mos aged; Three are females---1yr aged and one is an aged Female approximately 5 years aged.They are all allowed in and outside at will.All are fed wal-mart special kitty brand cat aliment.I own two big uncovered litter boxes and one acutely big covered litter box.All located in the galley area--easy access for cats.Boxes amuse scooped 1-2 times a time with fresh litter added every week.Approximately every four weeks, all litter is dumped and boxes are scrubbed and fresh litter added---litter kept at approximately a 3-4 inch depth.Recently the masculine and one of the year aged females own started pooping in the two direct corners in my den----behind a chair and last the t.v.
