I'm finding mixed info as to whether Hill's, Science Diet was affected in the recall. I didn't find any info on their website either. I feed my dog and cats dry food primarily but they all have a few cans in the pantry and I wasn't sure if I should just throw them away or not. Thanks

Animals across the country are dying, cats and dogs, from contaminated foods sold under various brand names incl. Iams, Eukanuba, Nutro, Hills Science Diet, and others. It seems to be canned and wet foods, food pouches too. Check this site for details:http://www. menufoods. com/recall/And regarding recalls, these companies recall their own foods for the safety of the pets! I provided a link and you should check the types and info to be sure food you have is not on the recall. I did not say these foods were bad as far as brand names go, but batches recently were recalled. For the sake of your pets, check out the link. It is from the company where these dog foods get some of their product. It is not from an organization seeking to slander pet food brands.
