What cat food is the best cat food out there to buy?

It seems like no matter what kind of cat food we bring home, at least one of our cats will throw up if they eat it. What kind of cat food is the best one for them that wont make them throw it up?

My cat was also throwing up those cat food I was buying at grocery store. I did some research and found that most of cat foods are made of grains. Cats are not vegetarian. They are meat eaters. Check the ingredients to see if they have Chicken, Turkey, Salmon as there first ingredients. You can also choose by looking at the price. Usually they cost around $20 for 5LB. Here are the brands I have given to my cat: Innova Evo and Wellness CoreI was happy to see petco had Wellness Core as cat food.(Innova Evo is kind of hard to find) Dont foreget to give less cat food. The two brands have more protiens then any other cat foods that have grains.

It depends on your cat...3 of mine will only have pouches and one will only have dry food...try asking you vet, they usually have some kind of food that is gentle on the cat, s stomach..of course cats usually throw up because they have gobbled it down to quick..hope this helps

Science diet is a good choice but its far from cheap. Every vet Ive asked seems to recommend it even if its not the one they sell. Are your cats throwing up or is it hairballs? And how often are they throwing up? It might not be a bad idea to ask a vet about this.

There are two issues here:First, any time you change a cats diet suddenly you risk digestive upsets. That can occur at either end. I think you got the better end! So the puking may be a sign to you to make food changes more slowly. Second, its certainly possible that the puking is due to an ingredient in the food, but its just as likely to be a hairball. For hairballs, the best treatment is prevention. Be sure to groom daily or as often as possible. Add some fish oil to the cats diet. Now for the food - the best food is a type, not a braind. Grainless wet food is the very best. This can be raw meat or canned food. Grainless dry food is good too, but wet foods are better. Below are links to grainless foods of each type.
