Actually, if you mix in an egg yolk into thier food every now and then, it can do wonders for clean, soft fur. (good if youre cooking something that calls for egg whites only :)

Wet food is bad. gives them bad breath and ruins their teeth. i have two black loong indoor cats and i use berkley jensen indoor cat formula or some brand from walmart a 14lb bad is $ 9. they love it. i buy a bag every 2 months. it also helps give them the nutrients that are in the wild, bug and grass and such and it also maintains their feasies and urine to not have a foul odor at all. but i also use the clumping litter. its well worth it and it lasts.

Try using Royal Canin my cat loves it and it really helps with the fur, considering that my cat is a long haired Persian.

We just started our cat on ROYAL CANIN for indoor cats, she loves it and her fur is growing thicker and softer, and there poop doesnt stink either! LOL its a bit pricy, you have to buy it at the vets but its worth it.

Try Wellness Super5 mix or Innova Evo. Its easy to switch foods, start by mixing a little bit of the new food into a lot of the old food. Every other day put in more new food and less old food until they are eating all new food. Dont put a bowl of new food down right away or theyll get diarrhea. Solid Gold, Artemis, and California Natural are pretty good too.
