What kinds of canned cat food is there with no chunkspieces only mashed all the way?

Alexandra

My cat only eats canned food if its mashed with no meat/tuna chunks. What kinds of canned cat food have you used/seen that are like that? So far Ive only used Natural Life that mashed/pureed food. Thanks!

Denese

Some Fancy Feast flavors are mush.

Marcelina

Wellness, Avoderm, Natural Balance all dont have chunks.

Lillia

Many brands have alternatives that are completely mashed or gelled. You have to look at the individual can. But, to provide variety, you can get the other kind and put it under the blender for 30 seconds, and you have instant pureed food. Is your cat just finicky in that way, or an older cat who cant chop the food up between his/her teeth any more? (Technically cats dont chew, because their jaws have no side-to-side movement.)

Kyle

We feed our kitty Fancy Feast and we need to look at the cans - "Dinner" is the mashed kind, but "Grilled" or "Filet" has the chunks. In another brand they had "Feast" on the ones that were mashed (ground with pulverized dry food and then wetted with flavored sause, actually).

Casie

Kitten food is mashed and some of the senior food

Most of the canned foods in the pets stores are not the chunks. They are also a better quality food than the supermarket brands. Additionally, the chunk style food have additives to form the chunks and make the gravy, so the pureed foods are much better.

Halley

Fancy Feast Turkey and Giblet Feast. Small white can with green band around lower part of label. Others will say, "chunky, with gravy or shredded.

Paul

Just look for GROUND on the label. I know Purina pro plan has a ground formula that my cat enjoys!

There are so many...Friskies, Fancy Cat, Whiskeys, Natural Choice, Science Diet. Just ask an associate at your store for help looking for a certain kind you like. I work at Pet Smart. And we help find cat food that is right for your pet...if they dont like it, you can return it..even with the can open. Good luck
