What is the best inexpensive dry cat food?

Fredda

Both my cats are eating Purina Cat Chow Indoor Formula (even though they live outside). What is the best dry cat food, that is fairly inexpensive?

Camellia

Wellness* sorry, cant spell apparently :P

Brianne

I recommend iams, pretty cheap and very good for cats, and dont give outside cats indoor food, bad idea, because its less calories and they need more because they will do alot more excersise and more activties so they need more protein and so on, give regular ones

Arturo

You could try feeding them the store brand food, that would be less expensive.

There really is no good dry food. Dry foods are mainly made of grains which are carbohydrates exactly like you find in Little Debbie cakes. Cats were meant to eat meat. Dry foods promote diabetes due to carb content and kidney and urinary tract disorders due to hard to digest grains and lack of moisture. Here are a couple of good articles to read on feeding your cat good food. And dry food does not clean cats teeth. http://www. littlebigcat. com/index. php? ac…http://www. littlebigcat. com/index. php? ac…http://www. littlebigcat. com/index. php? ac…
