cat food: How long after kittens start walking do you give them water and cat food?

How long after kittens start walking do you give them water and cat food?

I have 3 little kittens that are about a month old now. they are getting around and playing more everyday. is this a good time to introduce them to cat food and water? or are they too young? i dont want to make them sick.
