My cat sometimes is crazy, she coming and laying down with the big stomach and huging the bowl of cat food and also sleeping. My cat is funny, she is really fat, she is like 20 pound, i wonder why she is huging the bowl....

Ummm...maybe because she is a pig....stop leaving the bowl out and only feed her twice a day...when you eat breakfast and when you eat dinner....then take the bowl away after she finishes eating....she will soon learn that she doesnt have the freedom to just keep eating and eating

Perhaps thankful it is there! LOL

It is not funny when a female cat weighs in at 20 lbs. - it is a ticket to diabetes, arthritis, poor grooming and lots of other problems. Please go to http://www. thepetplace. com and read their excellent article on feline obesity. Dr. Jean Hovfe also has an article in her article library titled "Feline Obesity" and also one titled "The Right Weight Loss Program for Cats!" You can find the articles at http://www. littlebigcat. com

She is a little fixated on food. 20 pounds is too much, she needs to loose some weight for her health.

Haha... One of my cats is about 27lbs, and the last time I was to fly with him I of course called the airline first to make special "kitty reservation". The lady on the phone asked about his weight, which I told her, and she blurted out: "oh my... hes a fatty!" Why your cats hugging the bowl? Did you ever have a security blanket/stuffed animal as a child? There you go... I suggest you put the bowl on a soft carpet, shell be there for a while.... ;)

He/she might just be hungry or likes the cat bowl

Cats are protective of there territory, for some cats its just a few rooms, others its a whole neighborhood, but in your cats case its the food dish, and the easyest way to protect something is to hug it

Mine does it also. DOnt know why but for one of my cats its just a habbit now.
