Whats a good high quality natural cat food for sensitive stomach?

Burton

My cat throws up easily in the morning if she has too much food (like 3 pieces!) I feed her origins cat food and I like to get as natural and organic as posible...I dont eat by products and fillers so I dont want her to either! Whats a good Brand?

Emil

If she has a sensitive stomach, it could be a result of the types of meats in the typical cat foods. Often, one looks for a food that has a meat that your cat will not have ever encountered, and usually that means duck or venison or other game meat. So rather than suggest a specific brand, look for specifics of the types of meats, and see if your cat agrees. In reality, your cat makes the decisions on what she wants to eat, so others opinions dont matter.

It enhances the quality of their life because they arent eating low grade ingredients and foods they cant properly digest.

In addition to the premium brands already suggested:http://www. naturapet. com/brands/evo. asp My cats eat regular EVO as well as the duck and the venison. If your cat vomits easily you could try feeding her smaller more frequent meals. You could also try to see if she is sensitive to a particular ingredient by trying different foods and noting how she responds. I had a cat who vomited frequently. I think the main issue was that she ate too much too quickly. Even though I spread out the food into small snacks she wolfed still it down and continued to vomit. There was nothing wrong with her, she was just a puker. I waited after every meal for the "washing machine" sound. She always wanted to throw up on something, not the floor, always a rug, my bed, or laundry. She was a wonderful cat and I loved her dearlybut gee, did she cause a lot of messes. Another food you could try is one of the Natural Balance limited ingredient formulas. I have not tried any of them since my current cats dont have that issue. It is a good company though and I trust their products. Good luck with your kitty.

I second the suggestion of California Natural. It is a very simple and high quality cat food that is designed for cats with sensitivities.

Ed

California natural is a good one. Try to feed mostly canned if you can. http://www. californianaturalpet. com/Its Me: So your cat would rather have a food with soy then a food with real meat?

Irina

My cats get Wellness canned food.

Charla

Ask the vet. he will suggest u the right cat food

Just get her regular cat food instead of that hippie crap. Dont make your cat suffer because you are weird.
