I am currently feeding her "The good life". It is one of the more expensive brands of cat food. I have tried different kinds. She seems to like this one the best. Is there anything extra I can give her to help her gain a few more pounds?

If she is losing weight despite eating alot then she needs to be taken into the vet. She could have thyroid problems, kidney failure, diabetes or internal parasites. If she is clear for all of those you should gradually switch her over to a higher fat, better quality food. The good life by purina isnt a good food, it contains by-products and chemicals. SOme good brands are Wellness, Solid Gold, and Blue Buffalo.

Does she need to gain weight? How old is she and how much does she weigh? I would probably get a better quality food. Try something higher in fat and higher in protein and the first three ingredients should be meat, not corn or some crap like that. And if she eats mainly wet food - try slowly switching her to dry food. It has more calories.

The first thing you need to do is take the cat to the vet to find out WHY she is thin. There may be a physical reason she wont put on weight. Just feeding her more food is not an answer. There are many diseases in cats that manifest themselves in failure to gain weight. Take the cat to the vet.

Just feed her the cat food she likes she should get can food and wet food each day plus fresh water and clean kitty box and is she fixed yet once you get her fixed she will gainweight and much love.

If your cat needs to gain weight try feeding kitten food. It has more fat and calories than adult food.

Hi i was just asking the same question a little bit ago but i found that Purina pet food is the best dry food you can give a growing cat not shure about adult cats but there is a meat blend that my cat enjoys =)
