I bought my cat some canned food, but i forgot it in my car and its been in there for about 5 days.. and my car sits in the sun all day while im at work... I hear that canned food doesnt go bad, but does that go for cat food too?? I really dont want to poison my Cat... Please help.

Yes it is, as long as its not too hot. If its warm or lukewarm itll be fine, just put it in the refridgerator for about 10minutes once you get home.

I would check with my vet to see if he or she feels that it is okay to feed the cats cat food that has been exposed to extreme heat. I would not want to give it to them if there might be a danger of the food being contaminated. The vets office would be the best place to ask.

It should be. th cats wont eat it if it is really bad. it was not very long.

I wouldnt trust it--even tho it wasnt open--depending on how hot it got in your car-Just to be safe I wouldnt feed it to your cat.

It will be fine, all canned food including pets is treated with extreme heat in the factory to cook and kill bacteria
