I have a cat with megacolon. The vet suggested a canned food by Hills Science Diet (I believe only available at a vets office), but I dont want to support Hill Science Diet. Can anyone suggest good alternatives and cost estimates for them? Thanks a bunch.

The only one I can think of is Iams Low Residue. Actually, it seems to be fairly palatable.. many cats love it. Sorry, I dont know the cost.
